Chris Staats Eliminated in 6th Place ($1,400)

William Smith opened to 25,000 and then Chris Staats moved all in for 135,000 total. The action was then on Derek Normand who then announced a raise to 237,000, to which Smith responded by moving all in for close to 600,000.

"Wow, am I really about to bust the nit," he pondered as he counted his chips. "This would put me at 1.3 million," he continued.

"Just get it on Sunday," Smith replied, and after a few more moments, Normand folded pocket jacks.

"You got kings, don't you?" Staats asked Smith, who nodded as he tabled [KcKd].

"Ok, I need an ace one time!" Staats announced as he flipped over [As9c].

Unfortunately for him, the runout came [3d3c5c3s10h] to give Smith a full house and Staats was eliminated on the stone bubble for the second time in this tournament.
