Keith Norris opened to 250,000 and action folded around to Jared Eskandari on the button who made the call to see the flop of [5h6d2c].


Eskandari checked to the preflop aggressor, who continued for 250,000 and Eskandari called.


On the turn [Ks], Eskandari checked, Norris moved all in, and Eskandari snap-called.


"You got a set?" Someone asked.


"Yep," Eskandari replied as he flipped over [6s6c] for top set on the flop. Norris sighed as he flipped over [KhJc] for top pair but drawing completely dead. The river [9d] was just a formality and Eskandari was pushed the pot while Norris was eliminated in 8th place.




 

Short-stacked Sung Keem open-ripped his last remaining big blinds preflop and was called by Joseph Coffaro in the big blind to put him at risk.


Keem flipped over [QhJs] but would need to improve against the [Ac4h] of Coffaro.


Unfortunately for Keem, the runout of [5dKc7c10d6s] did him no favors and he was sent to the rail in 9th place as the first casualty on the final table.
